Success Is Spelled SEO
Success Is Spelled SEO
A few weeks ago my dog began having severely itchy ears. Since it was right before Christmas he couldn’t get in to see the vet- so the very first thing I did was look up online what could be the problem and how to solve it. In fact, I use Google at least once a day everyday for something!
Nowadays the majority of us are heavily reliant on the internet. Whenever there’s an issues we need help solving, or we’re looking for a restaurant or business in our area we’re very quick to turn to the all-knowing information highway. However, with there being over a billion websites online, it would be absolutely impossible for a human being to check each one for the content they need! Thankfully there are search engines like Google and Bing that help to narrow down the seemingly infinite number of sites to just the ones that are pertinent to what we are looking for. Not only are these websites filtered out, but these search engines also work hard to put them in order- with the most relevant sites on the first page of search results.
When I was looking up my dog’s ear issue I was able to find what I needed within the first two or three search results. To be honest, I don’t recall the last time I looked past the first page of search results for anything. This fact alone shows the necessity of search engine optimization, or SEO.
SEO is a service that pulls a client’s webpage to the top of the search list- the goal is to get our websites on the first page of the search results. Without getting too technical, the higher a page is in the search engine’s results, the more people visit the website. Each one of these visitors could become a client, and these potential customers could provide the revenue we’ve been working so hard to bring in! So our objective is to decrease a website’s SEO ranking- the lower the number, the better the ranking!
We have recently done some work with an HVAC company located in central Florida. I’m proud to report that we were able to greatly improve their SEO ranking! Through our top quality back-linking and the optimization of particular qualities Google requires, we were able to obtain in two months what generally takes at least three to six months of work. The images below depict where this company began, virtually nonexistent in the search engine realm (around the 100th site to appear in keyword searches). After rebranding the site and adding more authority, we were able to help them jump up to the first page of the search results!
These results are the outcome of a two month campaign.
Like I mentioned previously, it generally takes up to 6 months for businesses to reach that low SEO rank and increase their revenue. With longer campaigns, we’re better able to analyze the keywords effective for the website, and apply our findings to push the site not only to the first page, but to the top of the first page.
