Search engine optimization SEO on site and off site is an important aspect that determines the success of a website or a blog search results. It is important to note that for your website or blog to rank on the first page of Google, you must ensure it is well optimized. SEO can be categorized into onsite and offsite optimization. 100% Success Doesn’t Exist in SEO

There is no single SEO technique that guarantees 100 percent positive search results and thus, you must integrate all of them together. Some of the onsite SEO techniques include optimizing your title tags, creating compelling Meta descriptions, utilizing keyword rich headings, adding ALT tags on your website or blog images, creating a sitemap, building internal links between pages and updating your site’s content regularly.

Search Engine Optimization SEO on Site and Off Site

Furthermore, you must embark on offsite website optimization to compliment your onsite SEO for better search results. The most important offsite SEO technique is backlinking. Backlinking is linking your website with other related successive websites or blogs. However, as you start your website backlinking, it is important to note that linking your website with poor quality websites will affect your website search results negatively.

I am launching a motivational site for high school seniors. It is like a Chicken Soup for the Soul, without the sappy stories. There are guides to ace the tests and tips to survive high school. I will also include my diary when i was in high school.

    Any suggestions?

My website has keywords and description in the code. However, I still have very low listings on the search engines. Most of the sites that are higher then mine don’t really address the search word better than my site does. Does high ratings equate payment for that service…or can it be achieved without having to pay the search engines?

I am planning to install multiple websites, each having their own index page, on a single domain. I am not sure which method would be best as far as search engine optimization. Ive read different opinions on this, but still dont know which to go with. I plan on having 30 sites on the domain. Basically, i want to do whatever would be best overall for SEO and also linking them all to one page. Thank you in advance for your help.

Do you have to keep the computer turned on all the time so the search engines can get in to crawl your website? If so, would sleep mode work?
I just don’t see how they get in if the computer is off. Thanks.

I just put all of the search options in for my freewebs site, and added it to google. How long before the bots come and crawl my site and put me on their search engine? Will they even put me on?

I just started up an online store that sells beachwear products. I have my site registered with many different search engines, I’ve designed campaigns with Google AdWords that are being run on Google and get thousands of impressions daily, but few clicks (many people can see the ad but few people click on them), I was advertising on facebook, briefly, am advertising on Kijiji and have submitted articles to many blogs for backlinks, and am still having great difficulty gaining traffic to my website. What am I doing wrong? Does anybody have any advice on how to get my business off the ground? Thanks.

I have a web site that has been averaging about 150 unique hits a day. During one week it even had 100,000 hits in one week but am now getting a solid 150 unique hits, 200 page loads per day. Is that worth anything to advertisers because it certainly isn’t worth crap with Google AdSense.

I am building a website which deals with a fairly popular subject. When I search for the keywords that I expect my visitors to use, I see 100s of thousands of results.

I am using google webmaster tools and other methods to make my site visible to the search engines but I assume everybody does that.

What’s the best way to stand out?

I don’t mind paying… although, I feel the cheaper is better considering my current financial status and just getting off the ground. BTW, I tried entering them into the search engine and the site words don’t pick them up automatically.

I own an auction website but it has very few members an absolutely no auctions running. There are people looking at it but nobody is signing up because there aren’t any listings. And nobody is posting auctions because there are very few members. So I decided to do a promotion where if your auction(s) don’t make a profit, you get your listing fees back. What is the best way to get the word out about the promotion?

I have heard so many bad horror stories about some of these SEO firms ripping people off and costing them a fortune, but not getting any better rankings in return. Are there any legitimate, reputable firms out there that anyone can direct me to?
I’ve read all about SEOs, ranking, optimization, etc. I have optimized my site the best I know how, but I think it still needs a lot of help and I dont have the know-how, time or interest to delve into that area on my own.
I only will want to pay for a service if it will truly help get me into the top 10 or so that some of these firms claim. Is this realistic…or are all these firms bogus? Thanks
