What Is Comprehensive Marketing
There is quite a bit of information out there on social media marketing, but what you don’t see enough of is what is needed in addition to social media. I hate to burst your bubble but social media marketing isn’t enough on it’s own. So if you are spending all of your energy on that and none on other avenues then we need to talk.
Don’t get me wrong, social media is a great place to start but let’s talk about the balance of what you should do in addition to that. I wrote about the sales funnel recently and you may be thinking I’ve heard all of this before. Just hear me out because I think it is worth your while to consider what I’m about to say next.
If you aren’t making various offers along the way for people to act on then you will end up spinning your wheels. There are several ways to make offers in every industry. You are the pro at what you do, so write tips to your audience then ask your future customer to fill out some contact info in order to access this information. This is the easiest place to start because if you can turn a word or pages doc into a PDF then you can be your own publisher.
I was speaking with a motor home sales person the other day who owns a local dealership and we were discussing some of the valuable knowledge he had in his coconut. He said, tires are extremely important to motor homes in how they drive and perform overall. Now, I have no knowledge of motor homes so this information was extremely interesting to me and I’m not even looking to buy!
So if you have a place on your website to place a banner so that when a visitor is browsing your site and see that, rather than bouncing off your site without capturing that lead they might fill out the form. Now you have a qualified lead and it only took sitting down and putting what you know on paper. It couldn’t be easier!
