Inbound Marketing Plan – What Is It?

The most important thing to know about inbound marketing is that the process is seemingly slow in the beginning and takes time. It is not an overnight lead generator contrary to what people might think. So the question is, “How much time?”. Depends on the time you are willing to devote to the process and how far you are willing to go.

Are you willing to redesign your website and turn all of what you are currently doing on it’s head if it doesn’t serve to produce qualified leads? If the answer is “YES” the you are in business. If you are a social media fan boy or gal then I have some difficult news for you…it’s not the end all to inbound marketing. Social media marketing is only a component to the comprehensive plan to how customers who are looking for your product or service.

Inbound or “Vision” marketing coincides with the philosophy that people respond to different messages and stimulus to customers at different levels. What I mean is that, not everyone receives info the same way or are in the same position to make a decision. Some future customers are not ready to say yes or no but “maybe”. They may still be on a fact finding journey to enlightenment on whatever problem they have.
